Hi there, I'm Emery Robbins!

My financial journey started right after college. I was making enough to live comfortably, but I was constantly stressed. I had no clarity on my spending, no emergency fund, no real vision for what I wanted my money to do for me. Once I leaned into budgeting, that changed fast. I built an emergency fund, saved for a few dreams (a trip to Italy among them), and started making decisions that actually reflected what mattered to me.

Now I'm married with a one-year-old, and we're working toward retiring early. Our values have been stability, adventure, and family. We’ve built our lives on years of living without debt, planning ahead, and knowing our values.

That experience is exactly why I built The Money Tent: a safe, judgment-free place for people to actually understand their money and spend with intention.

We take a values-based approach here. That means we start with what matters to you, and let that guide the budget. I've found most people are plenty motivated once they know what they're actually working toward.

My background combines a Finance degree, years of self-education, and real-world experience helping people navigate their finances. We work with clients through The Pitch, a 3-month starter program or hyper personalized support.

Personal finance is personal so everyone needs their own driving force. I'm shamelessly passionate about helping people live with financial peace so they can build a full life.
